Senior Management Accountant

Description Company This  UK listed manufacturing business based in central London is looking to hire a Senior Management Accountant due to the growth plans. They are well-established in the industry and have presence in various countries. They are looking for someone that can help adding value to the finance team as well as the wider business.

Role The Senior Management Accountant will report to the Head of finance and own the month-end close for 3 key entities, including balance sheet reconciliations, journals, accruals, prepayments, inter-company and explaining movements against forecast. You will manage the accounting for the UK and foreign entities, including inventory, daily sales reporting, weekly stock reconciliations, VAT reconciliations and annual tax submissions. You will have responsibility for Group treasury activities, including weekly net debt/net cash reporting, cash flow forecasting, monitoring cash balances and managing funding requirements across the regions.

Profile The successful candidate for the Financial Controller vacancy will be ACA/ACCA qualified with a few years of work experience in industry.

A 'can-do' attitude is required as well as experience within an international business. Sound knowledge of accounting standards i.e., IFRS, UKGAAP. Strong communication and influencing skills with ability to simplify complex problems and build solution are desired. This role will be mainly offering a hybrid working structure (3-day a week in the office) and it is based in central London.
