Housing Association Rates Manager

Housing Associate Rates Manager - Shoreditch - £35,000 - £40,000 DOEMy client, a business rates advisory company are looking for a Housing Association Rates Manager to join their company. This role is for an experienced Council Tax/Business Rates or housing/property administration professional with strong local authority knowledge, excel/data reconciliation skills and ability to manage high-volume caseloads.

The successful candidate will be responsible for Council Tax and Business Rates case management, local authority liaison, portfolio/data reconciliation, exemptions and reliefs, account/query resolution, management reporting, KPIs and workflow/process improvement.

You will act as the primary contact between the client, local authorities, neighbourhood teams and finance teams.Responsibilities:

• Review and validate incoming Council Tax and Business Rates bills for the current financial year.
• Verify liable parties, tenancy dates and property records.
• Investigate billing discrepancies and ownership queries.
• Monitor and resolve incorrect billing and liability issues.
• Maintain auditable records of all billing activity.
