Senior Accountant

A leading international organisation is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join its UK Finance function. This is a key role responsible for delivering accurate financial reporting, supporting statutory compliance, strengthening financial controls, and providing insight into business performance.

The successful candidate will be a technically capable accountant with strong financial reporting experience, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to operate effectively in a complex, multinational environment. The role will involve close collaboration with internal teams and external stakeholders, with a focus on maintaining high standards of financial governance and continuous process improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the preparation of monthly financial reporting submissions, ensuring information is accurate, complete, and delivered in line with Group requirements and deadlines.
• Produce statutory accounts for UK entities, ensuring compliance with FRS 102 and relevant UK accounting regulations.
• Manage the annual audit process from planning through to completion, acting as the key finance contact for external auditors and supporting the resolution of technical accounting queries.
