Accounting Technician

About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Technician to support our client accounting and compliance services. You will work closely with our senior accountants to deliver high-quality bookkeeping, accounts preparation, and tax compliance services.

• Prepare bookkeeping records using accounting software.
• Assist with management accounts and year-end financial statements.
• Support VAT returns and HMRC submissions.
• Process payroll and related reporting.
• Assist with personal and corporation tax computations.
• Maintain accurate client records and compliance documentation.
• Communicate with clients to gather financial information and resolve queries.

• AAT qualified or part-qualified (or equivalent accounting qualification).
• Previous experience in an accountancy practice.
• Knowledge of accounting software (Xero, Quick Books, or Sage).
• Strong attention to detail and good numerical ability.
• Excellent communication and time management skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines and work within a team.
