Part Time Assistant Accountant

TV/Film Production organisation seeks a Part TimeAssistant Accountant to join the business on 6 months + contract. This role would suit a candidate who has previously worked within the production/media sector. With prior exposure to production accounting.

This role would suit a "hands on" individual is able to multitask and prioritise their workload. The Assistant Accountant would be diligent, a strong communicator and able to work on their own initiative. The role would suit candidates who is immediately available to commence employment

Responsibilities of the Assistant Accountant include:

• Processing monthly journals, accruals, and prepayments.
• Assisting with preparation of P11
  
  Ds
• Performing reconciliations to seek resolution to accounting errors or inaccuracies
• Assisting with production accounting
• Processing purchase invoices and sales invoices and responsibility over AP/AR ledgers
• Processing credit cards transactions and employee expense claims
• Processing bank payments and receipts, preparing bank reconciliation.
• Processing intercompany recharges
• Payments to suppliers
• Completing VAT returns
• Assisting Head of Finance with ad hoc tasks
