Accounts Payable Manager Annual Salary: £50,000 - £60,000

Sittingbourne Job Type: Full-time, 12-month FTC We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Manager to join a non-profit housing provider based in Sittingbourne. This is a 12-month fixed-term contract where you will be responsible for overseeing the accounts payable team and ensuring efficient management of the payment cycle. Day-to-day of the role:
Oversee and manage the accounts payable team, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments. Develop and implement efficient accounts payable processes and policies. Manage monthly closing of financial records and posting of month-end information; ensure accuracy of financial statements. Provide training, guidance, and leadership to accounts payable staff. Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts to reduce costs.

Prepare and present reports on accounts payable performance and metrics. Collaborate with other departments to improve integration and efficiency of financial operations. Required Skills &

Qualifications:

Proven experience as an Accounts Payable Manager, ideally within a non-profit or housing sector. Strong leadership skills and experience in team management. Excellent knowledge of accounting principles and accounts payable processes. Proficiency in accounting software and systems. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
