Private Client Tax Supervisor London with Hybrid Working Modern Firm | Private Client & International Tax | CTA / STEP Study Support

Due to continued growth, our client is looking for a Private Client Tax Supervisor to join their team in London. This is a newly created role within a modern firm offering hybrid working and a genuinely interesting private client portfolio. The position will suit an experienced Tax Senior ready for the next step or an established Tax Supervisor looking for more ownership, an interesting client base and the opportunity to continue developing within a growing firm.

You will manage your own portfolio of private clients, including High Net Worth Individuals and internationally mobile professionals, taking responsibility for their tax compliance while becoming a trusted point of contact for wider tax matters.

The client base includes sporting professionals and other individuals whose work takes them around the world, so there is plenty of exposure to clients moving overseas or relocating to the UK.

• Preparing and reviewing Self Assessment Tax Returns and associated private client tax compliance work
• Supporting clients with international moves and associated UK tax considerations
• Working on more complex private client tax matters alongside Managers and Partners
• Identifying opportunities where clients would benefit from additional tax planning or specialist advice
• Liaising directly with clients, HMRC and other professional advisers
• Using the firm's latest technology and digital systems to work efficiently and provide a responsive service to clients
• Supporting and sharing knowledge with more junior members of the tax team where appropriate

Hybrid working is available and the firm is keen to support continued professional development. Study support can be provided towards CTA and STEP and there is plenty of scope to broaden your technical experience as your career develops.

You will already have good Private Client Tax experience and be comfortable managing your own portfolio and dealing directly with clients. You may be ATT qualified, qualified by experience or looking to continue your studies towards CTA or STEP.

Experience with High Net Worth Individuals or internationally mobile clients would be useful. Exposure to cross-border tax would be a real advantage although the firm is equally happy to consider someone who is keen to develop in this area.

The salary range of £40,000 - £60,000 has been set by Fletcher George and will depend on relevant experience and professional qualifications.
