- Assist with group consolidated statutory financial statements under IFRS, including disclosure notes
- Assist with year-end audits, liaising with audit engagement teams and preparing supporting documentation
- Assist with statutory accounts under local GAAP, including trial balances and statutory adjustments
- Liaise with country advisors and ensure filing deadlines are met
- Assist with group tax returns
- Assist with compliance and reporting, including VAT returns and investor reporting
- Support month-end processes and complete balance sheet reconciliations across the group
- Develop and maintain group-wide IFRS financial accounting and reporting policies
- Help roll out policy, process and system changes
- Collaborate with the wider finance team on non-business-as-usual projects
- Perform additional ad-hoc activities as required
- Qualified ACA/ACCA/CA (or equivalent)
- Industry experience or Top 20 practice background
- Excellent technical knowledge of IFRS
- Extensive experience preparing or auditing financial statements under IFRS
- Strong attention to detail and high standards
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects and priorities
- Ability to solve problems logically and set out work papers clearly and concisely
- Collaborative approach and ability to build strong relationships with senior commercial, financial and legal partners
- Excellent Microsoft Excel skills
Demonstrates expertise in IFRS financial accounting and reporting, with a strong focus on preparing and auditing financial statements. Proven ability to collaborate effectively with finance teams and manage compliance and reporting processes in a dynamic environment.
