- Ideally part/qualified ACCA, ACA or qualified by experience with a minimum of 2- 3 years’ experience within an accountancy practice
- Ability to complete a full set of accounts and company/owner-manager tax returns
- Ability to prepare VAT returns for Companies and sole traders
- Be highly efficient and organised
- Possess strong communication skills
- Team player and have a good rapport with the clients
- Experience in using Xero, Quickbooks, DEXT and Taxcalc preferred
- The ideal candidate should be self-motivated and be able to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Managing your own portfolio of clients through the production of Accounts/Tax returns by carrying out the following key duties and tasks:
- Preparation of year-end accounts for limited companies, sole traders, charities and partnerships.
- Preparation of VAT returns via xero accounting software
- Preparation of personal and corporate tax computations and returns.
