As the first dedicated accounting hire at , you will own the end-to-end month-end close process and manage all billing infrastructure. This hands-on role involves building the controls, policies, and systems needed for a fast-scaling group while preparing for a direct path to the Controller position within a high-calibre, YC-backed fintech team.

• Own the full month-end close cycle, including journal entries, reconciliations, and complex revenue recognition for subscription contracts and acquisitions.
• Manage day-to-day billing and cash application for over 9,000 advice professionals, implementing AI tools to automate manual AP/AR workflows.
• Build the group's accounting infrastructure from scratch, establishing internal controls, intercompany mechanics, and audit-ready reporting standards for external investors.

• 4+ years of experience in audit or accounting at a Big 4 or mid-tier firm, with specific exposure to SaaS or subscription business models.
• ACA/ACCA qualified (or final stage) with strong working knowledge of UK GAAP/FRS 102 and hands-on proficiency in Xero.
• A self-starter with the clarity to explain complex accounting concepts to non-finance colleagues and the drive to own a function autonomously.
