The Opportunity We're seeking an experienced and ambitious Expatriate Tax Manager to join our dynamic Japanese team.

We're looking for a talented and commercially minded professional who is passionate about helping clients navigate the complexities of a global workforce. The ideal candidate will bring a blend of technical excellence, strong relationship management skills, and the ambition to make a real  this exciting role, you'll have the opportunity to:

Partner with renowned Japanese businesses, advising on complex international mobility, expatriate tax, and cross-border workforce challenges.

Take ownership of complex client engagements, delivering high-quality solutions that help globally mobile employees and businesses navigate an evolving international tax landscape. Provide strategic and commercially focused advice on tax planning, compliance, and mobility programmes for internationally mobile work forces.

Become a trusted advisor to clients, building deep relationships and delivering exceptional client service that drives long-term value.  Lead risk management and quality assurance activities, conducting robust technical reviews and proactively identifying and escalating issues where appropriate.
