Accounts Assistant – Luxury Retail/Automotive - £35-40k
I’m currently recruiting for an Accounts Assistant to join the Finance team of a growing international business
. This is a great opportunity for an experienced Accounts Assistant to join a collaborative finance function and gain exposure to multiple entities, currencies and VAT jurisdictions across Europe and the Middle East.
- Processing high-volume supplier invoices across multiple currencies
- Reviewing VAT treatment, including reverse charge and cross-border transactions
- Preparing supplier payment runs and reconciling supplier statements
- Processing employee expenses and corporate card transactions
- Bank postings and reconciliations
- Supporting month-end close and reporting
- Assisting with statutory audit requirements
- Supporting process improvements and strengthening financial controls
- 2+ years’ experience within a multi-entity international finance environment
- Experience with multi-currency invoices and international suppliers
- Good understanding of VAT and financial controls
- Strong Excel, reconciliation and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
