Bookkeeper – Accountancy Practice Do you have strong Bookkeeping experience but feel its time for a new challenge? This established and forward thinking accountancy firm near Tunbridge Wells is looking for a confident Bookkeeper to join its team, working with a varied portfolio of clients and taking responsibility for their day-to-day bookkeeping requirements.

About the role Working as part of a friendly and experienced team, the Bookkeeper will provide an accurate and reliable service to a range of clients. Responsibilities are expected to include:
Managing bookkeeping for a portfolio of clients Maintaining accurate purchase and sales ledgers Bank and account reconciliations Processing financial transactions and maintaining client records Preparing and submitting VAT returns Liaising directly with clients to obtain information and resolve queries Supporting the wider accounts team when required Ensuring work is completed accurately and within agreed deadlines What we are looking for The ideal candidate will have previous bookkeeping experience, preferably gained within an accountancy practice or professional services environment.

They will ideally offer:
Previous experience working as a Bookkeeper Accountancy practice experience would be highly advantageous Experience managing bookkeeping for multiple clients Good working knowledge of Xero Quick Books experience would also be useful Strong attention to detail and accuracy Confidence communicating directly with clients A positive and professional approach to their work What's in it for you This is an excellent opportunity to join an established accountancy practice offering a varied and client-focused position.
