Project Accountant

Oxford | Hybrid Working (3 Days On-Site) Looking to take ownership of high-value projects and influence key business decisions? We're recruiting a Project Accountant to join a collaborative finance team supporting complex programmes and future business growth. Working closely with programme, commercial and operational stakeholders, you'll provide financial insight, challenge and support across the full project lifecycle, from bid stage through to delivery.

Key Responsibilities Partner with programme and commercial teams to drive financial performance. Lead forecasting, budgeting and project financial reporting. Support contract bids, pricing and business cases. Deliver variance analysis and meaningful management information. Manage Estimate at Completion (EAC) reporting and project reviews. Ensure robust financial controls and accurate project costing. Support month-end, audits and compliance activities. Act as the key finance contact for project stakeholders.

About You QBE or qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA or equivalent). Experience in project accounting, financial control or project reporting. Strong financial analysis, forecasting and business partnering skills. Advanced Excel skills and confidence working with senior stakeholders.
