Accounting & Business Support The Opportunity A well-established and growing accountancy practice in Helston is looking to recruit a Semi-Senior Accountant to join its friendly and supportive team. The Role Working closely with the wider accounts team, your responsibilities will include:
Preparing accounts for limited companies, sole traders and partnerships Producing and submitting statutory accounts Preparing self-assessment tax returns Reviewing and submitting VAT returns Liaising with clients to resolve accounting and tax queries Communicating with HMRC and other relevant parties Supporting colleagues across the wider practice Building and maintaining strong client relationships About You The ideal candidate will have:
Previous experience within an accountancy practice Experience preparing accounts for a range of clients An understanding of VAT and statutory accounts Self-assessment tax experience would be advantageous Strong communication and organisational skills A proactive and client-focused approach A genuine ambition to progress their career within practice Ideally be working towards, or looking to commence, professional accountancy qualifications What's on Offer The firm offers a supportive environment where you can develop your career, alongside a strong benefits package including:
