The role will be approximately 70% accounts and 30% audit, with the successful candidate expected to work closely with seniors on assignments. The firm works with a diverse and interesting client portfolio across sectors including renewable energy, construction-related businesses, manufacturing, gaming, charities, professional services and waste management, with turnovers ranging up to £80m.
Key Responsibilities- Assisting on audits from planning through to completion
- Carrying out audit fieldwork both on-site and in the office
- Acting as a key point of contact for clients during assignments
- Preparing statutory accounts under FRS
102 - Assisting in the supervision and support of junior team members
- Identifying audit risks and ensuring compliance with accounting and audit standards
- Building strong client relationships and delivering a high level of service
- ACA or ACCA Studier
- Strong UK practice experience
- Good understanding of UK accounting and audit standardsi>
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Motivated, professional and keen to progress within practice and a desire to work in audit
- Strong audit and accounts exposure across a varied client portfolio
