A position for a part time accountant has arisen for an expanding accountancy practice with a varied client base in Preston. The hours and days can be flexible to suit your needs as you will principally manage your own time. You will be responsible for undertaking accounts preparation, VAT returns and tax computations for a wide variety of clients ranging from multinational operations to medium and small businesses.

Furthermore, as well as your own client portfolio you will be expected to liaise with clients and help their business become more profitable. You will also be dealing with HMRC on behalf of client queries and help resolve any outstanding issues You should have several years’ experience of working within an accountancy practice producing accounts preparations, tax and VAT returns with the willingness to be involved in other areas of the business.
