Accounts and Business Services Senior

We're recruiting on behalf of a well-established UK accountancy and advisory firm, currently hiring an Accounts & Business Services Senior to join their Canary Wharf team following a recent acquisition. What The Job Actually Involves Preparing and reviewing client accounts, taxation and financial requirements in line with budget timelines and accounting standards Managing monthly and quarterly management reporting across a diverse portfolio of owner-managed businesses Handling company and personal tax compliance, including day-to-day HMRC correspondence Supporting clients through software implementation, training and Making Tax Digital requirements Getting involved in ad hoc advisory projects that go beyond standard compliance work Building strong, trusted relationships with clients at different stages of their business journey Offering guidance to junior colleagues and supporting their development What You'll Need Around 3–4 years' experience in accounts and business services, with a solid understanding of accounts processes and industry standards Confident, professional communication skills, with clients and colleagues alike The ability to work independently, escalating only genuinely complex issues A commercially minded approach, with an understanding of the wider context behind client decisions What's On Offer Alongside a competitive salary, you'll get a fully-funded private medical plan including mental health cover and 24/7 GP access, a health cash plan covering everyday costs like dental and optical, plus an Employee Assistance Programme.
