Programme overview
On the U.S. Tax Graduate Programme, you’ll shape the future with confidence by supporting asset management clients across the UK and Europe in navigating complex and evolving U.S. tax legislation. You’ll work in a high-performing and collaborative team, enabling you to develop deep technical expertise and leverage technology to deliver meaningful impact for clients and global markets.
Along the way, you’ll also study towards a globally recognised qualification with the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW) Certificate in Finance, Accounting and Business (CFAB) and Enrolled Agent.
Core skills for success- Analytical thinking - interpret complex U.S. tax legislation and client data to deliver clear insights that support compliance and strategic decision-making.
- Collaboration and relationship building - work closely with global teams and leverage expertise to consistently deliver seamless cross-border services and solutions for our clients.
- Curiosity and motivation - develop your potential by building deep technical expertise and business skills through a combination of continuous on-the-job learning and professional qualifications.
- Adaptability and resilience - navigate a fast-paced and dynamic environment that will enable you to build a strong financial services skillset.
- Digital, data and AI fluency - use EY tools, technology and data-driven approaches to enhance efficiency and help transform how U.S. tax services are delivered.
- Work on U.S. tax engagements for leading Private Equity, Hedge Fund, Real Estate and Credit Fund clients across the UK and Europe.
- Contribute to different stages of the tax lifecycle, from compliance and reporting, to supporting strategic solutions.
- Apply U.S. tax knowledge, data and EY technology to solve complex client challenges and deliver clear results.
- Develop your professional skillset through formal structured training, real client experience and ongoing coaching.
