October 2026 The Opportunity We are partnering with a highly recognised consumer brand to recruit a Financial Accountant for an initial 12-month contract. Reporting to the Senior Financial Accountant, you will take on a varied, hands-on role covering financial accounting, reconciliations, debt, lease accounting, audit and financial reporting. We are particularly interested in CA, ACA or ACCA qualified accountants or finalists , whether you are looking to make your first move from practice into industry or are already working in a similar role.

Key Responsibilities Balance sheet reconciliations and resolving historic accounting discrepancies. Month-end and year-end accounting, including journals, accruals and prepayments. Debt reconciliations and lease accounting (IFRS 16). Supporting year-end audit and financial reporting. Improving accounting processes and financial controls. About You CA, ACA or ACCA qualified or finalist. Practice-trained or currently working in a financial accounting role. Strong technical accounting knowledge and Excel skills.

Excellent communication skills, with a friendly, outgoing and proactive personality. Consumer, retail or hospitality experience advantageous but not essential.
