We are seeking a highly capable and experienced accountant to join one of the busy teams within our fast-paced Creative Division. The ideal candidate will be ACCA/ACA qualified with 3+ years PQE within a UK accountancy practice or similar professional setting.

The purpose of this role is to support the delivery of bookkeeping, financial operations, management accounts and statutory accounts for a portfolio of high-profile clients within the Creative sector. Working closely with Managers and Partners, the Assistant Manager will help ensure the delivery of high-quality accounting and financial services, maintaining technical accuracy, compliance and exceptional service standards. A key aspect of the role is supervising, mentoring and developing junior team members, providing technical guidance and day‑to‑day support.

• Support the delivery of accounting, financial reporting and business management services for a portfolio of high-profile Creative sector clients
• Prepare and review management accounts, cashflow forecasts and overseas reporting in line with client requirements and reporting deadlines
• Work closely with Managers and Partners to ensure all statutory deadlines and compliance requirements relating to accounts, tax, VAT, and other financial obligations are met
• Assist with the preparation of statutory accounts and group account consolidation in accordance with UK GAAP, including FRS 102 and FRS 105
• Review bookkeeping and financial reporting prepared by junior team members, ensuring quality, accuracy and technical compliance
• Assist with the planning, prioritisation and allocation of work across the team to ensure deadlines and service standards are achieved
• Monitor workflow, budgets and WIP, identifying potential issues and escalating concerns where appropriate
• Assist with specialist assignments, including royalty accounting, withholding tax matters and coordination with overseas accountants and business managers
• Liaise with Tax and other internal departments to support the efficient and seamless delivery of client services
• Prepare and review financial updates, management information and ad hoc reporting for clients and senior stakeholders
• Contribute to the development of junior team members through mentoring and technical support
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, efficiencies, and service delivery across the team
