The OpportunityA respected and long-established Chartered Accountancy firm based in London is looking to strengthen its US Tax team with the addition of a talented Tax Accountant. Known for its excellent reputation and diverse client portfolio, the firm offers long-term career prospects, strong professional support, and exposure to a wide range of tax matters.
Working closely with experienced International Tax Managers and Partners, you'll manage a portfolio of US and UK personal tax clients while gaining hands-on experience across tax compliance, planning, and advisory projects as your career progresses.
This role is available on either a temporary-to-permanent basis or an initial 6-month contract
. It is a full-time position, Monday to Friday, with hybrid working available following the probation period.
Salary is dependent on experience and qualifications, with flexibility for exceptional candidates.
Key Responsibilities- Manage a portfolio of US tax clients, overseeing compliance requirements while maintaining strong client relationships
- Prepare and review US personal tax returns
- Build trusted client relationships by providing timely, proactive, and professional tax support
- Assist Managers and Directors in delivering high-quality tax advice to US-connected individuals based in the UK
- Prioritise and manage workloads effectively to ensure deadlines are consistently met
- Work collaboratively with colleagues across the tax team to deliver an exceptional client experience
To be successful in this position, you will ideally have:
- A minimum of 2 years' experience within US Tax or International Tax
- A recognised professional qualification such as EA, ACA, ACCA, ATT, or CTA (preferred)
- Excellent communication and client management skills
- The ability to commute to the office within 90 minutes
