- Maintaining sales and purchase ledger records
- Weekly suppliers’ payment runs
- Completing bank reconciliation in multicurrency
- lntercompany invoicing and reconciliations
- Liaising with suppliers and resolving supplier queries
- Assisting Senior Accountant with ad-hoc duties
- Assisting with month end reporting, ensuring compliance with Group accounting policies, procedures and internal controls
- Reconciling balance sheets
- Completing and submitting VAT returns
- Fixed assets register maintenance
- Accruals/prepayments/deferred income/leases/loans month end journals
- Preparing supporting schedules and documentation for annual statutory and Group audits
- Be AAT qualified, ACCA qualification/ studies considered an advantage
- Knowledge of UK VAT requirements
- Have a 2-year post qualifications and proven experience of working as an accountant
- Have great communication and organisational skills
- Strong attention to detail, ability to investigate discrepancies and meet reporting deadlines
- Have good Excel skills
- Knowledge of Sage, Xero, Zoho is an advantage
