Engagement:Project-based with flexible hours
Compensation:US $80–US $150 per hour, depending on expertise and project requirements
Responsibilities- Create tasks involving bookkeeping, journal entries, accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and financial statement preparation.
- Develop reference solutions with accurate calculations, supporting documentation, and clearly explained accounting treatment.
- Evaluate agents classifying transactions, reconciling accounts, correcting discrepancies, and preparing accounting reports.
- Design scenarios involving incomplete records, duplicate transactions, misclassified expenses, and period-end adjustments.
- Define evaluation criteria for accuracy, completeness, consistency, and traceability to source documents.
- Identify accounting errors, unsupported assumptions, and mistakes in agents’ use of accounting tools.
- Degree in accounting, finance, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional expertise.
- 3+ years of experience in accounting.
- Strong understanding of double-entry bookkeeping, account reconciliation, and financial statements.
- Experience with month-end closing and applying relevant accounting standards.
- Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets and accounting software.
- Fluent English, with strong written communication skills.
- CPA, ACCA, or equivalent professional qualification.
- Experience with Quick Books, Xero, Net Suite, SAP, or comparable platforms.
- Experience managing accounting records across multiple businesses or industries.
- Experience reviewing accounting work and documenting procedures.
