Position: Band 3 Outpatient Front of House Receptionist | Royal Free NHS Foundation Trust

Role Overview

To provide a courteous reception service to patients and clinicians in line with office procedures, contributing to the efficient and effective running of designated outpatient clinics.

To work closely with Supervisor, nursing and medical staff to ensure that any issues in clinic are raised immediately to maintain an excellent level of service to patients.

To manage the booking of designated new & follow up clinics and ensure that these are booked efficiently and that any booking issues are raised immediately with supervisor, Service and medical staff to ensure patient care is not compromised.

Responsibilities
  • To provide a courteous reception service to patients and clinicians in line with office procedures.

Qualifications and Experience
  • Proven experience of working with the public in an administrative position.
  • Excellent customer care in a busy and high‑pressured working environment, working across multiple outpatient clinic locations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and a high attention to detail and accuracy.
Working Hours

Working shifts are 8am–4pm and 10am–6pm – Monday to Friday.
