Workforce and Retention Coordinator
We are currently recruiting for a Workforce and Retention Coordinator to start immediately for 6 months on a temporary contract. The role is Hybrid – 2 days in and 3 days from home, full‑time, with a competitive rate of £30,373-£33,357 19‑21an hour
.
Our client is an established non‑profit healthcare membership body.
WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?- Provide administrative support to the Workforce and Retention Manager in all activities related to the development and administration of the retention, support and wellbeing services for the psychiatric and wider mental health workforce.
- Provide administrative support for activities relating to the retention of the psychiatric and mental health workforce and member CPD.
- Support a range of lead clinicians (including the Registrar, Presidential Lead for Retention and Wellbeing, Chairs of the Workforce and SAS Committees, and various working groups and committees) with agenda setting, minute taking and action tracking.
- Coordinate events including face‑to‑face and online webinars, training, conferences, induction events and stakeholder engagement events; liaise with facilities for catering and audio‑visual requirements, and travel as needed.
- Support workforce policy, briefing and report writing, data transcription, and report collation.
- Draft user‑focused content for the college’s digital platforms, including uploading and publishing on the website via the content management system and social media; regularly review communication channels to keep content relevant and engaging.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and written skills.
- Professional telephone and online demeanor, consistently managing queries.
- Strong IT, data management and MS Office skills, including email.
- Knowledge of content management systems for editing and uploading web content.
