The Role
** We are looking for a motivated and organised Administrator to join our dedicated team in our
** Kensington Branch
** You will play a key role in supporting the operational team, ensuring smooth administration, accurate records, and excellent service delivery to residents, clients, and colleagues.
* Receive, log, and manage damp and mould reports from residents, housing officers, and internal teams
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date records on housing management and repairs systems
* Monitor cases from initial report through inspection, remedial works, and closure
* Ensure cases are progressed within agreed timescales and regulatory requirements
* Act as a key point of contact for residents affected by damp and mould
* Provide clear, timely updates and reassurance throughout the process
* Handle enquiries and concerns sensitively, recognising the impact on residents’ health and wellbeing
* Escalate high-risk or vulnerable household cases in line with policy
* Schedule damp and mould inspections with surveyors and residents
* Raise and track works orders for remedial repairs
* Liaise with contractors to monitor progress, access, and completion
* Ensure post-inspection actions and recommendations are followed up
* Update damp and mould registers and compliance trackers
* Support performance reporting, including KPIs, trends, and repeat cases
* Assist with audits, regulatory returns, and internal reviews
* Help identify properties or households at increased risk
* File and manage inspection reports, photographs, and correspondence
* Support housing officers, asset management, and repairs teams
* Contribute to continuous improvement of damp and mould processes
** Key Criteria
*** Proven administrative experience, ideally within social housing or a related environment
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
* Experience using housing management or repairs systems
* Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
