Location: Greater London

Our esteemed client in the shipping industry is seeking an Account cum Administrative Executive to join their dynamic team:

Accounts & Administration Executive with 2–3 years of relevant experience to support accounting, trade documentation, payroll, and HR administration functions. This role suits someone who is hands‑on, detail‑oriented, and comfortable managing day‑to‑day operational tasks independently while working closely with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Location:

    Suntec City (Central Business District)
  • Working Days:
    Monday to Friday (Standard for regional shipping/trading roles)
  • Working Hours:

    9:00 AM – 6:00 PM (Typical for CBD office roles)
  • Work Mode:
    Fully On‑site / Hybrid (Specify based on the client's current policy)
Key Responsibilities
  • Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
  • Prepare full sets of accounts and monthly closing schedules
  • Handle GST reporting and supporting documentation
  • Assist in Letters of Credit (LC) processing, including bank submissions and Form E
  • Prepare and administer shipping and trade documentation
    , including contracts and cargo loading/discharging documents
  • Prepare and execute monthly payroll
  • Support HR administration and statutory compliance
  • Maintain proper records and provide general administrative support
Requirements
  • Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
  • 2–3 years of relevant accounting and administrative experience
  • Experience in AP/AR and full sets of accounts
  • Knowledge of Letters of Credit (LC) and shipping documentation is an advantage
  • Familiarity with the shipping or logistics industry is an advantage
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and accounting/payroll systems
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Meticulous, proactive, and responsible
  • Good communication skills in English and Mandarin (to liaise with Mandarin‑speaking clients and suppliers in China)
