Office Manager
to be the heart of our London office-someone who thrives in a varied role and enjoys being a go-to person for both operational needs and ad-hoc support.
You’llbe the face of Ocean Wall in the office, ensuring it runs smoothly day-to-day, while also supporting our corporate advisory team and contributing to broader projects across the business.
This is an ideal role for someone who wants to grow with a company and get exposure to multiple areas, from investment research and client interaction to operations and new business creation.
Key Responsibilities Office Management & Reception- Be the friendly and professional first point of contact for anyone entering the office-clients, partners, and guests.
- Manage day-to-day officelogisticsincluding supplies, meeting rooms, general upkeep, and coffee (yes, we care about good coffee – if in doubt ask Murray!).
- Handle relationships with suppliers, cleaners, and building management.
- Coordinate basic IT support and troubleshooting.
- Provide executive assistant support toour
Chairman, Nick Lawson,including scheduling, diary management, meeting prep, and travel & restaurant bookings. - Support the COO with various business initiatives, from compliance coordination to HR and new hire onboarding.
- Help organise internal and external meetings, team offsites, and client events.
- Assistthe research team with basic content formatting, proofreading, and production of client reports.
- Get involved with idea generation and thematic research over time-ideal for someone with a budding interest in financial markets.
- Support marketing efforts including newsletters, presentations, and social media logistics.
- A naturally warm, friendly, and approachable person-the kind who makes people feel welcome.
- Exceptionally organised with good attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Comfortable with ambiguity and a willingness to say “yes” and figure things out.
- Strong communication skills-written and verbal.
- Interest in financial markets, investing, or research is a plus, but not essential.
- Prior experience in office management, team assistant roles, or operations is also a plus, but not essential.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) required; any experience with design tools (Canva, Adobe) or CRM systems () is a bonus!

- Job Posting & CV Collection (w/c23rdFebruary.Post on job boards. CVs and cover letters collected and lightly screened by COO or delegated team member.
- Week 2:
- First Round in-person Interviews / office walk-through and informal coffee with team members.
- Week 3:
- Offer Letter Sent / Contracts Signed – reference checks and background screening commenced.
