Salary: £24,843 to £26,438 per annum

Job overviewWe are seeking an experienced, dedicated, and highly professional Personal Assistant to the Headteacher at Islamia Girls’ School and Brondesbury College, a high-achieving secondary school rooted in strong Islamic values and a commitment to academic excellence. This is a vital and rewarding position where you will provide comprehensive administrative and organisational support to the Headteacher and senior leadership team. You will play a central role in ensuring the smooth and effective daily running of the school, handling sensitive information with discretion and working collaboratively across departments.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-level personal assistant support to the Headteacher, including complex diary management, meeting preparation, minute-taking, and follow-up.
- Maintain a high degree of confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
- Serve as a point of contact for key internal and external stakeholders.
- Manage administrative tasks including correspondence, document preparation, and filing systems.
- Support school compliance, communication, and reporting tasks.
- Oversee or assist in the coordination of school-wide events and functions.
- Ensure a professional, efficient, and welcoming environment in the Headteacher’s office.
- Support the schools ethos, values, and strategic vision through effective communication and administration.
- Proven experience in a PA or senior administrative support role (preferably in an educational or non-profit setting).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Exceptional organisational skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- High competency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Ability to build positive relationships and maintain a calm, approachable demeanour.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently under pressure.
- Commitment to safeguarding and upholding the school’s Islamic values and ethos.
- A-Level qualifications or equivalent essential.
- Degree desirable but not essential.
- Prior experience supporting senior leadership highly advantageous but not essential.
- A highly respected school with a strong sense of community and purpose.
