Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a PA to the Director of Housing and Regeneration. Housing and Regeneration is a fast paced environment with a broad remit covering housing development and estate regeneration, the delivery of services to council tenants and the delivery of Housing Advisory Services and solutions for people facing homelessness. We are looking for a dynamic individual to provide confidential, high quality and comprehensive administrative, secretarial and PA support to the Director of Housing and Regeneration.
The post holder will be expected to work effectively as part of the team to support the Senior Management Team (SMT). This will include setting up, maintaining and reviewing processes and systems to ensure effective day to day operation of the department, in accordance with relevant legislation and statutory requirements.
This is a great opportunity to work with Senior Managers and partners.
Responsibilities- Provide confidential, high quality administrative, secretarial and PA support to the Director of Housing and Regeneration.
- Work effectively as part of the team to support the Senior Management Team (SMT).
- Set up, maintain and review processes and systems to ensure smooth day‑to‑day operation of the department in accordance with relevant legislation and statutory requirements.
- Demonstrate problem solving, planning, organising and prioritising to meet deadlines with a positive, can‑do attitude.
- Highly skilled administrator with strong problem solving abilities.
- Ability to plan, organise and prioritise to meet deadlines.
- Proactive and capable of gaining a broad oversight of how a busy Housing and Regeneration Department runs.
