Reception & Office Manager – West End London
Salary: £50,000 + Benefits.
Hours:
9am – 5pm. Working pattern: 5 days in office.
This is a varied position combining reception management, office operations, facilities coordination, employee engagement and health & safety responsibilities.
Responsibilities Reception & Front of House- Act as the first point of contact for all visitors, clients and guests.
- Deliver a professional and welcoming front‑of‑house experience.
- Manage meeting room bookings, set‑up and hospitality requirements.
- Coordinate catering for meetings and events.
- Oversee post, couriers and deliveries.
- Ensure reception and communal areas are maintained to an exceptional standard.
- Manage day‑to‑day operations of a busy office environment.
- Liaise with landlords, building management and contractors.
- Coordinate office maintenance, repairs and workplace improvements.
- Manage office supplies, stationery, kitchen provisions and equipment.
- Support office moves, workspace planning and onboarding logistics.
- Identify opportunities to enhance workplace efficiency and employee experience.
- Manage relationships with external suppliers and service providers.
- Monitor service levels and vendor performance.
- Coordinate contract renewals and supplier reviews.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure value for money across services.
- Plan and coordinate internal events and employee engagement initiatives.
- Organise seasonal celebrations, team‑building activities and company events.
- Support company‑wide meetings, presentations and town halls.
- Help foster a positive and collaborative office culture.
- Act as the office Health & Safety lead.
- Coordinate workplace risk assessments and compliance activities.
- Manage fire safety procedures, drills and emergency protocols.
- Maintain workplace safety records and documentation.
- Support wellbeing initiatives and workplace best practice.
- Previous experience within Office Management, Facilities Management, Workplace Experience or a similar role.
- Experience overseeing reception and front‑of‑house operations.
- Strong knowledge of workplace health & safety and office compliance.
- Experience coordinating events and employee engagement initiatives.
- Excellent organisational and multitasking skills.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- A hands‑on, service‑focused approach.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
