Careers Administrator - Secondary School
Dulwich

We are working with a well-regarded secondary school in Dulwich to recruit a Careers Administrator. This is an excellent opportunity for an organised, proactive administrator to join a supportive school environment and play a key role in helping students prepare for their future education and career pathways.

This is a varied position, supporting the Careers Lead with the day-to-day administration of the school's careers programme and ensuring students have access to high-quality careers education, guidance and employer engagement opportunities.

The Role

Working closely with the Careers Lead and wider school staff, you will:

Provide day-to-day administrative support for the school's careers programme.
Coordinate careers fairs, employer talks, university visits and other events.
Maintain accurate careers records and databases.
Liaise with students, parents, staff, employers, universities and external organisations.
Support the administration of work experience placements and associated documentation.
Prepare communications, newsletters and promotional materials.
Assist with data collection, reporting and compliance with Gatsby Benchmarks and statutory guidance.
Act as a professional and welcoming first point of contact for careers-related enquiries.

About You

The ideal candidate will have:

Previous administrative experience within a school or education setting.
Excellent organisational skills and strong attention to detail.
The ability to manage multiple priorities and work to deadlines.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office and database management.
A professional, positive and approachable manner.
A genuine interest in supporting young people and their future aspirations.
