Overview

South Thames College, Wandsworth. Salary: £33,300 - £38,231 per annum, plus up to 40 days + Bank Holidays.

South Thames College is seeking an Admissions Officer to provide an information and enrolment service to prospective and existing students and staff. You will deliver high quality customer care in person, by phone or email, maintain up-to-date knowledge on courses, fee payments and eligibility to study, and respond to queries accurately and appropriately. You will process and maintain enrolment-related documents including fee assessment documents and application forms, and carry out administrative duties such as assessing payment options for learners, post duties, reception duties and supporting Admissions events as required.

Responsibilities
  • Provide information and enrolment services to prospective and existing students and staff, ensuring high quality customer care in person, by phone or email.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge on courses, fee payments and eligibility to study; respond to queries accurately and professionally.
  • Process and maintain enrolment documents, including fee assessment documents and application forms, and manage financial forms such as daily cash-ups.
  • Carry out administrative and enrolment duties, including assessing payment options for learners, post duties, and reception duties.
  • Support Admissions events as required.
Qualifications and skills
  • Experience in a customer-focused environment with a track record of providing courteous, informative and responsive service.
  • Experience in administration and supporting a team to function effectively; good computer literacy with accurate keyboard and data entry skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills; ability to communicate clearly with students, visitors and staff in a confident and professional manner.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
