RoleReceptionist (Permanent, full-time). This dual-role position combines front-of-house duties with administrative support across departments. You will be the first point of contact, demonstrating professionalism, initiative, and a commitment to excellent service. You will work closely with another receptionist, adapting to fluctuating workloads and varying administrative tasks.
Key Responsibilities- Manage reception tasks, prioritising and delegating as needed for smooth office operations.
- Welcome and direct visitors, booking them via Vicinitee.
- Assist with broadband/network issues, report faults, and follow up on resolutions.
- Maintain the Health & Safety Manual and record actions.
- Oversee meeting rooms: bookings, refreshments, catering, and equipment.
- Submit invoices for catering, milk, and supplies.
- Handle all post and courier deliveries, including scanning.
- Manage stationery stock, monitoring usage and costs.
- Answer calls via Genesys, directing appropriately.
- Support desk bookings and profile creation in Engage.
- Promote and implement safety procedures for all staff and visitors.
- Previous Reception experience with the ability to multitask.
- Presentation & Organisation:
Smart, tidy, and customer-focused. - Communication:
Clear and polite communication, even under pressure. - Teamwork & Initiative:
Works well with others and demonstrates independent thinking when needed. - Telephone & Switchboard:
Good phone manner; switchboard experience is a plus (training available).
