Receptionist City | 5 days office based £30,000 - £35,000
Meraki Talent is working in partnership with a Financial Services firm based in the City, looking for a professional, personable, and highly organised Receptionist to join our busy financial services firm.
This role will suit a naturally organised, approachable, and take pride in delivering an outstanding customer experience. As the face of our business, you will be the first point of contact for clients, visitors, and colleagues, ensuring every interaction is welcoming, efficient, and reflects our high standards of service.
Receptionist Responsibilities:- Act as the first point of contact for all visitors, ensuring an exceptional front‑of‑house experience.
- Coordinate meeting room bookings and ensure rooms are prepared to a high standard.
- Set up meeting rooms with refreshments, presentation materials, and equipment.
- Prepare meeting documentation and presentation packs for client meetings.
- Order catering and working lunches in advance of meetings.
- Coordinate and troubleshoot Microsoft Teams meetings, including international video conferences.
- Support colleagues with meeting technology and presentation requirements.
- Support the organisation of internal events, team meetings, and client functions.
- Assist with event logistics, catering, room setup, and coordination.
- Order office refreshments, stationery, and reception supplies.
- Maintain meeting room schedules and booking systems.
- Assist with general administrative tasks as required.
- Previous experience in a Receptionist, Front of House, Client Services, or Hospitality role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Teams, and Excel.
- Experience coordinating meetings and managing meeting room bookings.
- Strong customer service focus with a proactive attitude.
- Experience working within financial or professional services.
