Location: Greater London
Pearson McKinsey Ltd is seeking an organized and detail-oriented Administrator / PA to join our vibrant team. This role is for 3 days a week in the office. This essential role is crucial for maintaining the smooth operation of our accounting department and ensuring effective communication between our staff and clients. As an Administrator / PA, you will be responsible for various administrative tasks, including managing client correspondence, maintaining financial records, and supporting the accounting team with their day-to-day activities.

- Manage and respond to client inquiries in a timely and professional manner
- Maintain and organize client records and ensure that all documents are accurate and up to date
- Prepare and process invoices, receipts, and other financial documentation
- Assist the accounting team with bookkeeping and data entry tasks as needed
- Coordinate meetings, appointments, and events for the accounting team
- Support the preparation of financial reports and presentations for clients
- Help with the filing of tax returns and ensure compliance with relevant regulations
- Engage in continual training and development to enhance administrative and accounting skills
- Onboard clients and complete AML checks
- Submit Confirmation statements to Companies House
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional qualifications in accounting or administration are a plus
- Experience in an administrative or office support role preferred, ideally within an accounting or finance setting
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Detail-oriented with a focus on maintaining accurate records
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team setting
- Experience with Quick Books and Xero is a plus
- Experience coordinating meetings and appointments
- Experience handling day-to-day communication with clients and the accounting team
- Eligible to work in the UK
- Experience maintaining financial records is preferred
- Experience completing AML checks is preferred
- Experience submitting Companies House confirmation statements is preferred
- 2 years of accountancy practice administration experience is preferred
