Admin Support Officer
Pay: 17.85 PAYE per hour
Job Type: Temporary (Initially until the end of September, with potential extension subject to review)
Location: London, SE1 7JB
Working Pattern: Hybrid Working
We are seeking an organised and proactive Admin Support Officer to provide temporary support to the Voids Team within Repairs Operations. This role will play a key part in ensuring smooth administrative processes and supporting the efficient turnaround of void properties.
The successful candidate will be responsible for liaising with external energy suppliers, processing administrative tasks, and supporting the team with a variety of operational duties.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities- Contact energy suppliers to arrange the closure of utility accounts for void properties.
- Liaise with suppliers to identify and assist with the settlement of any outstanding balances or debts.
- Raise and manage work orders through the in-house repairs management system.
- Maintain accurate records and update internal databases and systems.
- Provide general administrative support to the Voids and Repairs Operations teams.
- Assist with document management, correspondence, and data entry tasks.
- Respond to enquiries and support colleagues with ad hoc administrative duties as required.
- Ensure all tasks are completed accurately and within agreed timescales.
- Previous experience in an administrative or business support role.
- Experience with in housing, repairs, maintenance, or property-related environments would be beneficial but is not essential.
- Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Confident communicator with the ability to liaise professionally with external organisations and stakeholders.
- Experience using internal systems or databases to raise and track work orders would be advantageous.
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise workload effectively.
- Self-motivated with a flexible approach to supporting a busy operational team.
