Role Description The Part-time Receptionist will serve as the first point of contact for visitors and callers at the City of London office in an on-site capacity. Day-to-day responsibilities include greeting clients and guests, answering and directing phone calls, managing incoming and outgoing mail, and coordinating meeting room bookings. The role also involves performing general clerical tasks such as filing, data entry, maintaining reception and common areas, and supporting with administrative tasks.
The Receptionist will handle client inquiries professionally, ensure a welcoming front-office environment, and follow firm procedures for visitor access and security. This part-time position requires flexibility in working hours and the ability to support office operations during peak business times.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong customer service and communication skills to interact professionally with clients, visitors, and team members.
- Candidates should possess solid phone etiquette and receptionist duties skills to manage calls, direct inquiries, and maintain a professional front desk presence.
- Candidates should possess organized clerical skills, including filing, data entry, and basic office administration.
- Relevant experience in a receptionist, front desk, or administrative support role in a professional services environment is beneficial.

- Hands-on approach to maintaining the tidiness of common areas and meeting rooms.
- Comfort using common office software (e.g., email, word processing, calendars) and telephone systems.
- Reliability, punctuality, and the ability to work part-time on-site in the City of London as scheduled.
