This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting the successful delivery of projects from initial handover through to commissioning and completion.
Reporting to the Projects Team Manager, you'll provide essential administrative, planning and coordination support, helping ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities include:
* Provide administrative, planning and coordination support to the Projects and Commissioning teams.
* Create and upload client Purchase Orders into the order management system and Opera.
* Prepare and issue Variation Quotations for additional works and maintain the Variation Order Register.
* Attend project handover meetings between Sales Managers and Project Managers.
* Assist with project planning using Microsoft Project, ensuring labour, materials, drawings and documentation are scheduled effectively.
* Maintain accurate document control, ensuring project information is logged, filed, distributed and tracked efficiently.
* Prepare and submit Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS) in collaboration with the HSQE Advisor, ensuring documentation meets client and health & safety requirements.
About You
You'll be highly organised, proactive and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy. You'll be a confident communicator who enjoys building positive working relationships with colleagues, clients and subcontractors.
Essential Skills & Experience
* Previous experience in project coordination, project administration or document control.
* Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise a varied workload.
* Experience using CRM systems.
* Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Word and Excel.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* High attention to detail and a methodical approach to work.
* Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
Desirable Skills
* Experience using Microsoft Project.
* Experience coordinating subcontractors or commissioning activities.
* Knowledge of Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS).
* Experience with in construction, engineering, manufacturing projects.
