Exams and MIS Assistant Required for September 2026 Full time (36 hours per week, term time only + 2 weeks, including 6 days across the two August results weeks) Salary: SCP 18-22 – £35,520– £37,692 FTE (pro rata actual £31,062 – £32,962)

Finchley Catholic High School is a highly successful, oversubscribed school, and we are seeking to appoint a passionate and committed Assistant Exams and MIS Manger to support the Exams and MIS Manager with the smooth running of internal and external examinations throughout the academic year, as well as the production of data analysis.

The Exams and Data office provides vital support for all members of the school community. We are looking for an individual who can assist the Exams and MIS Manager in:

  • administering all public and internal examinations, including supporting the recruitment, training and oversight of exam invigilators
  • leading on the use of SIMs (the school Management Information System)
  • producing data in a variety of formats for a range of stakeholders
  • managing the system for reporting to parents, including on pupil attainment

Applicants should have a range of abilities, including high levels of numeracy, a logical mind and the willingness and ability to get to understand the main packages we use such as SIMs, 4

Matrix and Class Charts as well as a strong knowledge of standard Microsoft Office packages, particularly Excel. Excellent personal qualities are required such as the ability to remain calm under pressure in a busy environment. Good communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to plan ahead and meet strict deadlines are required as well as a flexible, positive approach and an ability to take the initiative when needed.
