Our client is a well-established and highly respected professional services organisation based in Central London. They are seeking a proactive and reliable Facilities Assistant to join their Operations team and support the smooth day-to-day running of the office environment
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a career within facilities, workplace services, or business support. Key Responsibilities- Support departmental budget monitoring and expenditure tracking using Excel
- Maintain accurate records relating to facilities spend and operational activities
- Assist with office security processes, including access passes and visitor management
- Distribute internal and external mail and coordinate courier services
- Support daily messenger and delivery requirements
- Manage stationery ordering, stock control and distribution
- Assist with document archiving and records management
- Support office moves and furniture relocation projects
- Provide administrative support relating to office systems and telephony
- Maintain stock levels of kitchen, refreshment and office supplies
- Carry out printing, binding and document preparation tasks
- Assist with general workplace and facilities administration
- Support ad hoc projects and operational activities as required
- Ensure communal office areas remain fully stocked and operational
- Follow company policies, procedures and compliance requirements
The ideal candidate will demonstrate:
- GCSEs (or equivalent), including Maths and English
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail - Ability to work using initiative and manage priorities effectively
- A positive, flexible and proactive approach
- Strong team-working abilities and willingness to support colleagues
