- To positively contribute to the Local Land Charges service in accordance with the aims, objectives, and priorities of the Council to agreed quality, performance standards and in a cost-effective manner.
- To maintain the Local Land Charges register.
- To process official Local Land Charges Searches and deal with additional enquiries.
- The role is hybrid, attendance at the office is required for fixed days each week. There may be times when it is expected for the post holder to travel outside of the Borough to deliver services on behalf of Barnet.
- LLCI membership
- Education to GCSE, O Level or equivalent.
- Minimum 2 A Levels or equivalent and/or experience of working as part of a team.
- Experience of providing a high standard of customer service and undertaking detailed, intensive work in a busy administrative environment.
- Experience of contributing to the development of the planning database, GIS and other IT systems as appropriate.
- Working knowledge of legislation relevant to complaints and information requests, including the Freedom of Information Act, Environmental Information Regulations, and Data Protection Act / UK GDPR (desirable)
- Experience or willingness to learn administrative processes.
- Experience of records management and producing accurate data and documents
