The Education Administration and Student Experience (EASE) staff across the Faculty work together in a close network of teams that support all of our students. They will also work as part of one or several programme teams incorporating close working with professional services and academic staff.

About the Role

You will provide efficient and professional administrative support for all aspects of teaching and learning activities, assisting in achieving a high quality and timely service to current and prospective students, and staff relating to the designated courses/programmes and beyond. The post holder will interact with many people within and external to UCL, and work closely with our partner organisation, thus will need a professional approach, a collaborative mindset, and a focus on contributing to a positive and supportive team environment to adequately execute the duties outlined.

Working as part of a wider programme team/(s) to provide specialist administration to the Faculty’s taught (UG) Integrated Medical Sciences degree programmes (those in Division of Medicine, Division of Surgery and Interventional Science, Division of Infection, Immunity and Transplantation and Cancer Institute), ensuring effective procedures are adopted and documented for dealing with all aspects of the administration.

  • The post is graded at GRADE 5, the annual salary for which ranges from £31,904 - £36,433 per annum inclusive of London Allowance.
  • This role is fixed-term until 17 May 2027, 1.0 FTE
  • The role will mainly be based at UCL’s Hampstead campus at Royal Free Hospital, with occasional visits to Bloomsbury campus.
  • This role is eligible for hybrid working with 40-60% on site. The postholder will be onsite every Tuesday and Thursday. Some flexibility may be able to be explored where required

About You

You should ideally have administrative experience in a busy office environment with good communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to adapt and learn new systems, liaise with a variety of people and relate to staff and students in a teaching and learning context.

You will be proactive with the ability to work independently and as a team. You will also be able to manage a busy workload and meet time-critical schedules whilst maintaining a commitment to high-quality service.
