Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a professional and personable Receptionist & Team Assistant to join a busy and supportive office environment in North London. You will be joining a well-established company within the finance sector.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being the first point of contact, thrives on organisation, and is passionate about delivering excellent service. You'll be responsible for managing the reception area, coordinating meetings and deliveries, and supporting the wider team with administrative tasks. The role will be 2 days a week focussing on administrative work and 3 days based on reception.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greet clients and visitors with professionalism and warmth
  • Manage meeting room bookings and coordinate daily office activities
  • Handle incoming calls and messages with a confident telephone manner
  • Organise deliveries, couriers, and taxis
  • Maintain a clean and presentable reception and meeting room space
  • Provide refreshments and support for meetings and events
  • Assist with post distribution, scanning, filing, and general admin tasks
  • Support client onboarding and compliance processes
  • Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to team meetings
  • Provide cover during holidays and busy periods
Person Specification
  • Previous experience in a receptionist or front-of-house role
  • Stable work history
  • Strong receptionist background
  • Experience in hospitality (preferred but not essential)
  • Approachable, easy to talk to, and willing to help
  • Strong organisational and administrative skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Proficiency in IT and office systems
  • High attention to detail and time management
  • Professional appearance and attitude
  • Adaptability and ability to work under pressure
  • A team player who takes initiative and ownership
  • Experience in a customer facing role

The role is expected to start as soon as possible with interviews taking place w/c 22nd September.
