Accounts Assistant

Accounts Assistant Salary: £27,000 FTE | 30 hours per week | 12 Month FTC We are recruiting for an Accounts Assistant to join a busy finance team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This is a varied part-time role covering purchase ledger, invoice processing and general finance administration.

The Role As an Accounts Assistant, you will be responsible for:
Processing supplier invoices, including checking, coding and inputting invoices onto the finance system Maintaining accurate supplier records and information Investigating and resolving purchase ledger queries Supporting with new supplier set-up and amendments Assisting with invoice payment documentation Supporting the production of weekly and monthly reports Providing general administrative support to the wider Finance team Assisting with credit control and other finance duties when required About You We are looking for an Accounts Assistant with previous experience in finance administration who is:
Highly numerate with excellent attention to detail Confident using Microsoft Office packages Well organised with the ability to prioritise your own workload Comfortable working to deadlines in a busy environment A strong communicator who works well as part of a team Proactive, reliable and willing to support across the wider finance function This is a great opportunity for an Accounts Assistant looking for a part-time position on a 12-month fixed-term contract, offering a varied workload across the wider finance function.
