Tottenham, North London Job Type: Full-Time, Temporary Pay Rate: £14.00 - £18.00 per hour (depending on experience) We are seeking a highly organised and enthusiastic Librarian / Administrator to join a welcoming school in Tottenham on a temporary full-time basis. This role is perfect for someone with strong administrative skills and an interest in library services, aiming to support the day-to-day operations of the school's library and learning resources centre.

Day-to-day of the role:
Manage the day-to-day operations of the school library. Issue, return, and catalogue books and learning resources. Maintain library records and databases. Support students and staff with locating and accessing resources. Process new stock, label, and organise resources. Promote reading initiatives and support library events. Assist with general administrative duties, including data entry, filing, and correspondence. Monitor overdue resources and maintain accurate records.

Ensure the library provides a welcoming and well-organised learning environment. Required Skills &

Qualifications:

Previous experience in a library, school, educational setting, or administrative role. Strong organisational and time management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Good IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. A proactive and professional approach to work. An enhanced DBS on the Update Service is desirable, or willingness to obtain one.
