Competitive hourly rate About the Role We are currently recruiting for a Temporary Mail Room Assistant to join a busy student accommodation team in York. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment, has strong customer service skills, and is available to start immediately. Working within the mail room, you will play a key role in ensuring student parcels and post are processed efficiently and accurately.

Key Responsibilities Receiving, sorting and organising incoming mail and parcels Scanning QR codes and updating parcel tracking systems Processing student mail deliveries accurately and efficiently Providing excellent customer service when students collect their parcels Responding to enquiries regarding mail and parcel collections Maintaining accurate records and ensuring data is up to date Liaising with colleagues to ensure smooth day-to-day operations Keeping the mail room tidy, organised and secure Following health and safety procedures at all times About You Previous customer service experience is desirable Comfortable using technology and scanning systems Strong attention to detail Organised and able to manage workload effectively Friendly, approachable and professional manner Reliable and punctual Able to work independently and as part of a team Interested?
