The Workforce Operations Resource Assistant is part of a collaborative team supporting accurate,fairand efficient rostering.
The role focuses on building andmaintainingfixed-pattern rotas, completing routine rosterupdatesand keeping workforce information accurate. The Resource Assistant checks information carefully, resolves straightforward issues and escalates exceptions to a Resource Coordinator at the right time.
This is an entry-level opportunity for someone who is organised,dependable and confident using systems. It suits a person who enjoys detailed work, communicatesclearlyand wants to develop their understanding of workforce planning in a fast-moving live broadcast environment.
Build andmaintainfixed-pattern rotas in line with agreed templates, staffing arrangements and published deadlines.
Checkrotainformation for gaps, clashes, missingdataand differences from the agreed pattern, correcting straightforward errors and escalating exceptions.
Keep workforce and rostering system dataaccurateand up to date, following agreed data standards and handling information appropriately.
Communicate routinerotainformation and confirmed changes clearly to colleagues and stakeholders, referring complex queries to a Resource Coordinator.
Support the team during busy periods by completingallocatedrostering tasks accurately and in priority order.
Follow established processes,guidelines and approval routes, keeping clear records of updates and decisions.
Develop an understanding of production roles, working patterns and operational requirements to build capability for broader rostering responsibilities.
Support the Resource Coordinators and Workforce Planning Manager on ad hoc projects when needed and the wider Workforce Operations team.
A careful, methodical approach and strong attention to detail.
Good organisation skills, with the ability to follow a repeatable process and meet deadlines.
Ability to spot errors or inconsistencies, take action within agreedboundariesand ask for help when needed.
Clear and professional communication skills, both written and verbal.
A calm,dependable and collaborative approach in a busy operational environment.
Willingness to learn about rostering, workforceplanningand live production requirements.
Adaptability and a positive approach to changes in priorities,processes and systems.
- Experience of rostering,schedulingor coordinating shifts.
- An understanding of fixed working patterns, leave records or workforce systems.
- Experience in broadcast, live events,sportor another operational environment.
