Location: Kingston Upon Thames
Working Pattern: Monday to Friday - full time in office
Pay Rate: £15.59

What you'll be doing:- Preparing papers, files and court/tribunal documents for hearings, meetings and proceedings
- Producing standard correspondence (including letters, minutes, notes and reports) following clear guidelines
- Creating and updating records on an in-house computer system and inputting data accurately
- Supporting the day-to-day operation of civil and family courts, tribunals and hearings (including checking materials are up to date)
- Handling enquiries face to face, by phone and in writing, providing helpful customer service
- Supporting listing, rota management and the checking of files
- Contacting relevant parties to schedule, serve documents and assist with court processes (including the use of chip and pin)
- Helping to problem-solve and contribute to small projects using continuous improvement and lean principles
- Checking and verifying documents, records, accounts, claims and returns against procedures and quality standards
- Producing basic statistical analysis reports and undertaking straightforward calculations as required
- Working flexibly across the office and stepping into ad hoc duties within the band when needed
- Excellent customer service skills, with a polite, prompt and professional approach
- Strong administrative ability-accurate records, thorough preparation and reliable follow-through
- Confidence communicating with the public, judiciary and other court/tribunal users and stakeholders
- A methodical mindset for checking and verifying information, meeting quality standards and workload targets
- The ability to use initiative and discretion within a framework of systems and processes
- Comfort working in a team with regular management support-and taking ownership of your own time
- Some flexibility may be required to work at other local offices on an ad hoc basis.
